Patricia Biller Krauskopf PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Krauskopf earned her FNP credential from the University of Colorado, and a PhD in nursing research from the University of Virginia. Her practice settings include the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution Emergency Department, E A Hawse Health Center, a community health center in rural West Virginia, Love Memorial Clinic, a rural health clinic in West Virginia and currently VISN 20 Clinical Call Center of the Veterans Administration providing urgent care needs virtually for veterans in the American northwest. In 1998, Dr. Krauskopf joined the nursing faculty at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. She retired in 2020 as a professor, the Helen Zebarth Chair in Nursing and immediate past DNP/FNP program director. Her research interests include innovative NP educational strategies, use of handheld technology, cultural competency and international healthcare. She authored a monthly column, Systematic Review of Mobile Apps for NPs, in the Journal for Nurse Practitioners through 2020.
