Maria C Lanzi MS, MPH, ANP-BC, COHN-S, FAANP
Ms. Lanzi is the deputy section chief of occupational and environmental medicine at the Michael J. Crescenz Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She brokered a partnership between American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and served as inaugural faculty to offer a 30-hour foundational continuing educational course for advanced practice providers. Dr. Lanzi is the first NP invited to sit on the national Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) Adult Immunization Work group and member the Advisory Board of the American College of Physicians’ new quality initiative to increase adult immunization rates.
