Dr. Valerie Griffin currently practices pediatric primary care at Heartland Pediatrics and serves as the Medical Director of Spero Family Services. She is an Associate Professor Emerita at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She maintains dual certification as a Family and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, has her Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialization, and is a Fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
