Melissa A Pollard DNP, APRN, RN-BC, CCRN, CEN, WCC, FAANP
Dr. Melissa Pollard has worked for 21 years as a nurse practitioner, both as a clinician and an educator. She has been a leader in clinical education and staff development for 30 years. She is recognized internationally for her leadership in developing interdisciplinary simulations to engage learners. Melissa is involved in research with simulation, team training, and education development; has spoken nationally and internationally. She was a regional finalist for the award for Excellence in Education. In addition to many professional volunteer activities, Melissa volunteers as a nurse practitioner on international medical missions.
