Audrey A Darville PhD, APRN, CTTS, FAANP
Dr. Audrey Darville is an Associate Professor, University of Kentucky College of Nursing and a Tobacco Treatment Specialist. Dr. Darville is a recognized expert in tobacco dependence treatment. Her work encompasses direct patient care, educating healthcare providers, and advocating for improvement in tobacco cessation treatment, particularly for vulnerable populations. Her research interest is developing strategies to reach and treat persistent tobacco use in persons with medical illness. Awards include Kentucky Nurse Practitioner of the Year - American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Research Utilization Nurse of the Year - Kentucky Board of Nursing, and Excellence in Clinical Practice - University of Kentucky College of Nursing.
