Debbi M Lindgren-Clendenen MN, RN, APRN, CNP, APNP, GNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, CPAHA, FAANP
Debbi Lindgren-Clendenen, MN, GNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, APRN, CNP, FAANP is a senior NP consultant with AAGING HEALTHY, LLC a non-profit entity based in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to this, she was the lead telehealth NP at large health system based in Minneapolis, MN. Debbi also initiated and developed three additional specialty NP roles at her statewide healthcare system. She was the first NP on two pioneering multidisciplinary teams to create, initiate and expand the NP role to full practice for two different cardiology programs at the Minneapolis Heart Institute. She has over 13 years of full-time NP clinical cardiology experience, including rural health, telecardiology (co-initiated this program in 2014 to answer patient need of decreased wait times while providing high-quality cardiology patient care)
She is passionate about the use of technology in clinical NP practice; especially when it efficiently improves patient care. Besides, telehealth, this has included internet enabled equipment, patient wearables, apps and AI. By also using innovative, evidence-based, patient-focused technology, she gathered patient satisfaction pre and post telecardiology visit outcomes to provide justification of continuing the telecardiology program. She was the co-chair of the Telehealth and Health Informatics SIG for AANP from 2022-2025. She is a certified professional of the American Heart Association in Telehealth (CPAHA-Telehealth).
Debbi is a tireless health policy leader and successfully advocated for the retirement of collaborative practice agreements at several rural MN locations, mobilizing these NPs to practice at the top of their license. She was awarded the 2015 AANP Clinical Excellence Award for the State of Minnesota.
