Katherine Ann Darling DNP, APRN, PMHNP/FNP-C, FAANP
Dr. Darling has owned Katherine Darling, PLLC clinic for several years, providing outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care. She's authored policy briefs, white papers, executive summaries, quality improvement recommendations, and psychiatric curriculum for undergraduate nurses. At ISPN; she's been a Foundation Board member, treasurer, and Marketing/Development Chair; for APNA; the nominations committee, Advanced Practice Steering Committee, and expert panelist for LACE, and child/adolescent councils; and she's the current Arkansas AANP State Representative. Her studies examined the "Integration of Primary and Psychiatric Care" and in 2014, she established the AR Nurse Practitioner Association and has served as the first ANPA President. Her awards include, Janssen Scholar 2010, Sigma Theta Tau, Recent Alumnus University of TN 10'.
Dr. Darling has developed expertise in transformational studies and practices, integrating mindfulness, meditation, Breathwork, and alternative modalities into her practice space. She is focused on how brain states can be altered and initiate transformational changes that can alter a persons' physical and mental health. She participates in workshops, retreats, lectures, and follows the latest brain research. She has moved into transformational coaching and integrating traditional medical models with emerging modalities for healing and recovery.
