Dr. Katherine Evans is a Family and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner whose focus is in long term care quality improvement. She is the Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Services for Novocardia. Prior to this role, she was Chief Nursing Officer of UnitedHealthcare Retiree Solutions. She holds many leadership positions at the local and national level with the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) including past national president.. She has been awarded the Sages of Clinical Services Award from the United Health Group Center for Nursing Advancement and the GAPNA Clinical Excellence Award at the state and local level.
