Rosario Medina Phd, FNP-BC, ACNP, CNS, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Rosario Medina is the Associate Dean of Clinical and Community Affairs at University of Colorado College of Nursing in the Anschutz Medical Campus. She is a local
and national leader in implementing Nurse Practitioner curriculum in preparing the
NP's of the future as culturally sensitive and proficient at improving the health
outcomes for underserved communities. Dr. Medina has been a Nurse Practitioner
for 23 years, and an academic educator for 27 years. Her commitment to
leadership, education, research, and clinical practice has advanced the NP
profession at positively changing the health outcomes for communities of
underrepresented populations.
