Andrea Brassard PhD, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Brassard recently retired as an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing where she directed the graduate health policy course. She retired as Senior Strategic Policy Advisor at the Center to Champion Nursing in America at AARP where she worked on the Campaign For Action to implement the recommendations of The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health. She is a "casual part time" FNP at Minute Clinics MD. She received the AANP 2014 State Award for Excellence for DC Advocate. She was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing in October 2017.
