Susan B Conaty-Buck DNP, MFA, APRN, FNP-C, FAANP
Dr. Conaty-Buck is a University of Delaware Asst. Prof of Nursing, FNP & Informatics Researcher. She educates/ precepts DNP/MSN/MBA/BSN students in Interprofessional Healthcare Informatics, Integrated Care Delivery, and Transition to Practice. A Family Nurse Practitioner of 21 years, she co-developed UD’s DNP program. Education: UVA (MSN and DNP), JMU (BSN), Virginia Tech (MFA Arts Administration), Rowan/Glassboro (BA Music Education) & UD Lerner COB (Graduate Certificate Entrepreneurship & Innovation). She is a Delaware Innovation Fellow. She co-chairs AANP’s Heath Informatics & Telehealth Community and serves on the HIMSS NP Education Committee. She is a planning team member for SONSIEL’s annual conference. Dr. Conaty-Buck is State Advocacy Director Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners. Research interests include Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Nurses, Patient Technology & Innovation, Healthcare Cybersecurity and NP Advocacy. She is an AANP Fellow, 2024 Delaware Top Nurse for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, 2021 Delaware Top Nurse for Advancing and Leading the Profession and AANP's 2022 State Advocate for Excellence.
