Lynne T Braun PhD, CNP, FAAN, FAANP
Dr. Lynne Braun is a Professor at Rush University Colleges of Nursing and Medicine and an NP in the Rush Heart and Vascular Institute. She served as co-investigator for 3 NIH research grants, is a co-author of 4 AHA Scientific Statements, 3 AHA clinical practice guidelines and was a consultant to the CDC's Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention. Dr. Braun is the Past Chairperson of the AHA Illinois Advocacy Committee, Past Chairperson of the Council on Cardiovascular and Stroke Nursing, Past President of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. She is the President-Elect of the Midwest Affiliate Board of Directors of the American Heart Association. She is Fellow of American Academy of Nursing, the AHA, National Lipid Association, AANP, and PCNA, and is the recipient of numerous awards.
