M Christopher Saslo DNS, ARNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. M. Christopher Saslo is the Associate Director for Patient Care Services/Nurse Executive for the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Mississippi. Chris finished his MSN from LaSalle University in Philadelphia in 1995 and his DNS from Florida Atlantic University in 2007. He is the past president of the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network and has been recognized by the AANP both in 2005 and 2009 in excellence as a clinician and advocate. He is has also been an active member in the Coalition of the Advanced Practice Nursing organization in Florida and worked in the development of a White Paper addressing health care in Florida as well as the Video produced on the Health care crisis in Florida. Currently Chris is working with the VA as an active member on the APN task force in the promotion of full practice authority for APNs in VHA.
