Dr. Christopher Blackwell, Associate Professor, College of Nursing, University of Central Florida is a prominent scholar who has made significant contributions to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender health. His research is published in many prestigious journals and textbooks, winning awards from the Florida Nurses Association and March of Dimes. He is the recipient of three teaching awards and is former Vice-Chair of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Adult Nurse Practitioner Content Expert Panel. He practices in Pulmonary/Critical Care and is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and Nurse Educator.
