Ruth G McCaffrey DNP, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, FAAN, FAANP
Dr. McCaffrey is the Emeritus Sharon Raddock Distinguished Professor at Christine E Lynn College of Nursing and has been a practicing nurse practitioner since 1995. She is the director of the DNP program at Florida Atlantic, prior to that she led the NP program. Dr. McCaffrey is a mentor for NPs and has published two books about NP practice: NP Notes and Doctor of Nursing Practice: Enhancing Professional Development. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, a Fullbright Scholar and received the Bayada Nurse Innovations in Practice Award and Sigma Theta Tau Founders Award for creativity. She is currently a professor at Mercer University in Atlanta Ga.
