Mary M Brennan DNP, AGACNP-BC, ANP, RN, FAANP
Dr. Brennan is a Clinical Associate Professor, Coordinator of the Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, and faculty in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at NYU. As an educator, she has developed a number of innovative technologies to promote clinical decision-making and diagnostic reasoning. Working in West Africa, she taught emergency room nurses guidelines for treatment of acutely ill infants and children. She is an expert in evidence-based practice, co-chair of the Evidence-Based Steering Committee and is leading an interprofessional Cochrane systematic review team. She was recently named one of 16 "Great Acute Care Professors" by nursepractitionerschools.org.
