Julie Cowan Novak DNSc, RN, CPNP, FAANP
Dr. Novak holds BSN, MA degrees and PNP certificate from the University of Iowa, and a doctoral degree from the University of San Diego. She is Professor/Head of the SON and Associate Dean for Pharmacy, Nursing and Health Sciences at Purdue University. Dr. Novak has developed, taught, and achieved funding for nurse practitioner programs, nurse-managed clinics, research, and local to global community initiatives in rural Mexico, the UCSD/UCSF Intercampus Graduate Programs, SDSU, UVA, and Purdue University. Her numerous awards include the Loretta D. Ford Award from the University of Colorado. Dr. Novak has authored over 50 publications, given over 150 national and international invited presentations, and been awarded over $4 million in grants and contracts.
