Dawn Louise Carpenter DNP, ACNP-BC, CCRN, FAANP
Dawn Carpenter, DNP, ACNP-BC, CCRN is an associate professor of nursing at University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Carpenter’s clinical practice is with the SICU/trauma service at Guthrie Healthcare System in Sayre, PA. Dr. Carpenter is transforming NP workforce by creating the books AGACNP Q&A Review and Fast Facts for AGACNP books, which support the success of both our future and current NPs. She is an active volunteer with AACN, as co-chair of the API planning committee and as a subject matter expert for the ACNPC-AG exam and study resources. Dr. Carpenter’s educational and practice efforts have been recognized with multiple awards: “Distinguished Faculty Award” (UMass); the “Outstanding Poster Award” (NONPF), and the “Exceptional Performance Award” (Penn State Health).
