Mary F Salter DNP, MAM, MBA, ANP-C, FAANP
Dr. Salter is an Adult Nurse Practitioner at the Veterans Administration Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System in Omaha, NE. She was instrumental in the establishment of the VISN 23 Bariatric Surgery Program and she pioneered the outpatient Intensive Weight Management Program in the VA system. She has been recognized by the National Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention for her contributions to obesity medicine. In addition, she is an adjunct professor for Bellevue University and educates students locally and internationally. Dr. Salter's long career in nursing has spanned a variety of care settings.
