Chris Winkelman RN, PhD, ACNP, FAANP, FCCM, CNE, CCRN
Dr. Winkelman is certified as an acute care nurse practitioner, a certification obtained after completing her PhD in nursing at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. As a nurse scientist, she has a 12-year program of research examining the effects of positioning and early, progressive mobility in adults with prolonged critical illness. She leads the acute care nurse practitioner program at her alma mater and teaches advanced practice nursing (APN) pharmacology core courses. She has published over 40 articles, many with her students, and multiple book chapters that contribute to APN practice, education, and science.
