Elizabeth A Downes DNP, MPH, MSN, NP-C, FNP, CNE, FAANP, ANEF, FAAN
Dr. Downes is the Betty Tigner Turner Clinical Professor and Director of the MSN Program at Emory University. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in international health. She has worked with internationally renowned organizations including the World Health Organization and the Carter Center to develop innovative programs across the world. She works with the refugee population in metro-Atlanta and migrant farm workers in rural Georgia. Ms. Downes is a co-author of “Educating Health Professionals in Low-Resource Countries: A Global Approach” focusing on the preparation of health professional educators.
