Margaret H Brackley PhD, RN, FAAN, FAANP
Dr. Margaret Brackley retired in January 2011 as professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Nursing and director of the Center for Violence Prevention. She is triple board certified and maintains a faculty practice at a Student Health Center.Dr. Brackley has a program of research on intimate partner violence prevention with numerous publications and presentations. She is currently the Educational Coordinator on a HRSA grant to expand psychiatric care into a remote area of South Texas by preparing Family Practice Mental Health.
She serves as Vice Chair of The Expert Panel for the Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitiomer Certification Exam for ANCC. She also chairs the Population Focused Competencies Task Force for PMHNP for NONPF.
