Rebecca Jermyn Graves Ph.D., NP-C, FAANP
Rebecca Graves, Ph.D., NP-C, Associate Professor and Director of Special Projects and Evaluation at the University of South Alabama (USA) College of Nursing, is investigating the health of diverse nursing students, providing improvement strategies. She is implementing an intervention to improve wellness in nursing students at USA and Tuskegee University, evaluating its effectiveness and cultural relevance. She teaches NP residents and students management strategies of obesity in diverse patients through culturally-relevant culinary medicine and evidence-based interventions. She is a co-chair of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners’ Obesity Specialty Practice Group and a fellows candidate of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing’s Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing.
