Nicole Martinez, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, ENP-C DNP Program Director, University of California, Irvine Dr. Martinez is committed to excellence in NP education, practice, and certification. She is an active AANP member, has contributed as an item writer for AANPCB, and served on the FNP Practice Analysis. She is an AANP abstract reviewer, conference speaker, and reviewer for both AANP journals. She has held leadership positions as a Board of Director and Western Regional Director for the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners. She is associate editor of an advanced practice nursing journal and is a published author of several articles and textbook chapters. Dr. Martinez received the INANE Mentoring Editor award, Achievement Award for College Scientists, and Comite Mexico Alumni award.
