Kristen Marie Telfor MBA, MS, APRN, FNP-C, FAANP
Ms. Telfor is a nurse practitioner at MidMichigan Neurology Center, PLLC. With over 17 years of experience, she is recognized as an expert in neurology. Ms. Telfor has shared this knowledge nationally through speeches and workshops, where she has been recognized as a brilliant authority and lecturer in neurology. She serves as chair for the American Academy of Neurology Consortium of Advanced Practice Providers, representing over 2,000 nurse practitioners and physician assistants nationwide. She has advocated for SB-279, which allows NPs to practice independently in Michigan and has served as a PAC chair for the Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners and remains an active voice on the advocacy and PAC committees. Furthermore, Ms. Telfor has independently contacted national and local representatives to pass bills beneficial for nurse practitioners. She was awarded the 2024 American Association of Nurse Practitioners Advocate State Award for Excellence for Michigan for her efforts.
