Bio
Allison M. Dimsdale, DNP, NP-C, AACC, FAANP, is a distinguished nurse practitioner and clinical leader with a longstanding commitment to advancing cardiovascular care and nursing practice. Dr. Dimsdale serves as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Advanced Practice and Vice President of Duke University Health System. She is nationally recognized for her leadership in implementing innovative models of team-based care and interprofessional collaboration. As a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP) and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACC), Dr. Dimsdale has been instrumental in shaping policy, education, and research initiatives that empower advanced practice providers across diverse clinical settings.
