Dr. Carolyn Dickens is a visionary leader, innovative thinker and dedicated clinician. Dr. Dickens maintains a vibrant clinical practice focusing on heart failure patients from underserved communities in Chicago. Her passion for NP policy is evident by her tireless goal to advance policies that will promote NP practice and ultimately improve patient care. She serves on the Executive Board of Directors of a large community health center in Illinois and is a NP leader on the Heart Failure Society of America policy committee. She was the 2017 recipient of the Pinnacle Nurse Leader Award in Illinois.
