Robin Arends DNP, CNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, CNE, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Robin Arends is a Clinical Associate Professor and APRN Program Director at South Dakota State University. She is a dual certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. In her clinical practice, Dr. Arends provides comprehensive mental and physical health care through telehealth modalities to residents of assisted living and long-term care facilities. Her passion for NP delivered healthcare utilizing telehealth modalities led her to be awarded a $1.2 million grant to educate FNP students and clinicians on telehealth. She is a national and international speaker on the use of telehealth to improve patient outcomes. She was a member of the first cohort of the AANP Leadership Program and second cohort of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Faculty Policy Intensive.
