Dr. Maria R. Molina, DNP, FAANP, Hon. PhD, is an internationally recognized nurse practitioner, educator, and researcher specializing in advanced heart failure, transplantation, genomics, and precision health. Since 2009, she has advanced cardiovascular health equity through innovative, culturally responsive programs across the United States, Japan, and the Philippines. A Harvard Medical School HMX Genetics Essentials graduate and NIH Summer OMICS Nursing Institute scholar, she is a global leader in genomics education and implementation science. As Past President of the International Transplant Nurses Society, Dr. Molina has authored more than 100 scholarly works and has influenced clinical practice, education, and policy in over a dozen countries.
