Maritza C. Alencar DNP, MBA, APRN-BC, BMTCN, FAANP
Maritza Alencar, DNP, MBA, APRN-BC, BMTCN, FAANP is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Florida International University Undergraduate Department. She is also the founder of Oasis Health Partners. A home health agency servicing Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. She is committed to advancing the role of nurse practitioners in the field of oncology and hematology. She co-founded the first oncology nurse practitioner fellowship program in Florida and co-chairs an annual international conference - Simpósio Internacional de Oncologia-Hematológica (SINTOMA) in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Alencar has authored and co-authored several manuscripts and a book chapter. She has been recognized as a transformation leader during her time at University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center for her work in programmatic development in the blood and marrow transplant program.
