Varsha Singh, DNP, APN, SCRN,NEA-BC, FAHA, FAANP, FNYAM,CPAHA is a Neuroscience Nurse Practitioner and Stroke Program Manager at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, New Jersey. She is current AANP State Liaison for New Jersey and holds leadership position at St. Joseph's APN council as Co-Chair. She is expanding her knowledge about Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare through certifications from MIT and Northwell Kellogg's University certification programs and serves on Stop Bias In Artificial intelligenceSystems (BIAS) Committee through Health Equity Action Network. Her expertise spans many areas of neuroscience that includes clinical, regulatory and quality components of Acute Stroke Management. She has assumed leadership roles in many nursing professional organizations at local, state, national as well as international level and has advised on community-based organizations. She is elected as a ‘Fellow’ at American Heart Association (FAHA-Stroke Council) and New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM). She has won many awards during her professional career for her nurse practitioner leadership. Varsha Singh is a nurse champion for climate change and advocates climate awareness and she is also on Advisory committee for South Asian Total Health Initiatives(SATHI) as well as Center for Asian Health Promotion and Equity(CAHPE).She advocates nurse practitioner advancement through role modeling, mentorship, education, research, and clinical practice.
