Dr. Kathleen M. Cox is the Director of the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). As the director of the only AGACNP program in this southwest region, Dr. Cox is a highly respected community leader in nursing education. She is frequently invited to speak on advanced practice issues in the region. Her expertise in delirium led to regional ICU nurses implementing delirium bundles in 5 area hospitals. Her reputation in various research projects has led to her selection as a research judge in several regional contests.
