Lacey Troutman Buckler DNP, ACNP-BC, NE-BC, FAANP, is the Assistant Chief Nurse Executive at the University of Kentucky Healthcare System. She oversees the professional home for Advanced Practice which encompasses over 500 APPs and also serves as the nurse leader for the Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, Interventional, and Infection Control service lines. Dr. Buckler has successfully embedded APRNs into every clinical team throughout the University of Kentucky and has changed the face of care at the flagship academic medical center in Kentucky. She is known nationally as an experienced APRN executive and serves a resource to systems looking to implement an APP model of care. Dr. Buckler has received numerous accolades locally and nationally for her dedication to advanced practice and patient care.
