Olivia M Jackson Newby DNP, FNP-BC, CDE, FAANP
Dr. Olivia Newby is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Certified Diabetic Educator, and Entrepreneur/Owner of the Healthy Living Center providing affordable culturally sensitive primary care and healthy lifestyle education and support to an underserved inner-city community in Virginia. Her HLC has obtained highly coveted national certifications from the American Association of Diabetic Educators and CDC. She has published and presented nationally and internationally on her innovative model of care, and received grant and corporate funding to sustain her center. As regional NP association president, she developed a successful leadership mentoring program and significantly increased membership, scholarship awards, and NP PAC donations.
