Dr. Midge Bowers is a Professor at Duke University School of Nursing and Director of the cardiovascular specialty. Dr. Bowers is an NP in the Heart Failure Access Clinic and has extensive experience in the care of patients with cardiovascular disease. She has published and written several chapters related to assessment and clinical management of cardiovascular disease as well as presenting to local, regional, national and international audiences. She has contributed to several podcasts on cardiovascular topics as well as pearls for NP practice in primary care and cardiology.
