Mariea Snell DNP, APRN, FNP-C, FAANP
Mariea Snell, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, FAANP is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice programs at Maryville University. She served as the Governor's appointee to the Missouri State Board of Nursing for eight years. In addition, she practices as a family nurse practitioner at Maven Clinic Inc., where she treats patients via telehealth. She has extensive experiences as a family nurse practitioner and educator. She has served as faculty in several institutions where she worked in program development, online course development and curriculum design. She is published in the areas of infectious disease, women’s health, and other areas of healthcare. In addition to her broad experience in education and regulation, she also has expertise in research and HIV care.
