Michelle Peacock MSN, FNP-BC, FAANP
Ms. Peacock serves federal health policy liaison for the
Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DOD) in
Washington, DC. She served tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Army
Nurse Corps Officer and was honored at the White House as a Champion of Change
for Women Veterans. She is the past board president of Cuidando
Los Niños, a nonprofit which serves homeless children in Albuquerque, New
Mexico. She has been recognized with numerous awards for her advocacy including
the AANP State Award for Excellence, AANP Advocate State Award for Excellence,
DAISY Award, and Women of Influence Honoree.
