Carmen T Lopez Rodriguez DNP ANP BC FNP FAANP
Dr. Lopez is faculty and Director of the Doctor in Nursing Practice in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She is board certified in Adult Nurse Practitioner. She is retired from VA Hospital since 2021 and actually has voluntary clinical practice at Campira Program and other voluntary clinics. Dr. Lopez's contributions to the recognition of nurse practitioner in Puerto Rico are numerous. She started the NP programs and spearheaded the NP scope and practice to law in Puerto Rico. Furthermore, Dr. Lopez founded the Puerto Rico NP Association. She was Member of the Board of Director of the National Organization of NP Faculties (NONPF). She is the AANP Puerto Rico Liaison. She was the Puerto Rico Board of Nursing President until August 2019.
