Paulette J. Thabault APRN, MS, JD, FAANP
Paulette Thabault, DNP, APRN, JD, FAANP, practices in South Burlington Vermont, focusing on the treatment of obesity and related chronic diseases. She is also the Director of the School of Nursing at Norwich University in Northfield Vermont where she leads the BSN and Masters programs. She was previously Director of the Hybrid Direct Entry Masters and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs at Northeastern University in Boston and was previously the Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer at CVS Minute Clinics and was the Vermont Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner with responsibilities for Health Care Administration. She is the current Vice President for the Vermont Nurse Practitioner Association and co-chairs the Policy Committee. She has taught in healthcare leadership and policy at the University of Vermont and Northeastern University and has consulted on patient-centered and clinical excellence practice innovations, including establishing a NP residency program for retail health with Northeastern University, consulting on PCMH transformations, wellness initiatives and on-line nursing education innovations. She received her BSN from the University of Washington, MSN from Simmons College, a JD from the New England School of Law and DNP from Northeastern University. She is Certified in Online Education through the Online Learning Consortium (previously the Sloan Center).
