Kala Blakely DNP, CRNP, NP-C, CNE, FAANP
Kala K. Blakely, DNP, NP-C, CNE, FAANP is an Adult Nurse Practitioner and clinic start-up consultant. She owns Hometown Family Medicine, an NP led clinic, where she maintains a volunteer practice. She serves on the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association education committee and Board of Directors for the Alabama Rural Health Association and East Central Alabama Health Education Center. She is a Certified Nurse Educator and mentors MSN and DNP students to serve in rural areas. Blakely has received the AANP State Award for Excellence Nurse Practitioner Award for her practice and GAPNA National Education Award for her dedication to educating future NPs.
