Courtney Pitts DNP, MPH, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Courtney J. Pitts is an Associate Professor and Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is a certified FNP with a clinical background in primary care and expertise in the management of patients living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). She is known nationally for her expertise related to NP education and practice and racial and ethnic diversity in NP education. Her scholarly interests include HIV and primary care, racial and ethnic diversity in NP education, telehealth in NP education, and promoting a sense of community in online learning formats.
