Kelly Marie Fath MSN, FNP-BC, FAANP, Commander, U.S. Public Health Service Commission Corps
Commander Fath has served in both the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) with over 17-years of combined active-duty service. As a senior officer and nurse practitioner, she has served in deployment roles as chief nursing officer, planning section chief, primary medical officer, and safety officer. Commander Fath served in many leadership roles of the COVID-19 response for a fleet of federal research ships and at the headquarters of the U.S. Marshals Service overseeing and adjudicating medical care for inmates in federal custody. Since April 2024, Commander Fath has led a team of USPHS medical officers as the Chief, Marine Medicine Branch for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), Marine Operations. She has long been a leader and advocate for clinical practice, education, and humanitarian service.
