Assanatu I Savage PhD, DNP, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Assanatu Iyatunde Savage is the Site Director and Assistant Clinical Professor for DNP students at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences with expertise and significant contribution in ambulatory care nursing. She has mentored, coached, and taught nurses and graduate nursing students in providing evidence-based care. She has strengthened the nursing profession as an academic coach and in her role as board member, chair and member of various committees and task forces for the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN) and manuscript reviewer for peer-reviewed journals. She has earned multiple military and civilian recognitions.
