Diane Fuller Switzer DNP ARNP FNP ENP FAEN FAANP is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Seattle University, teaching in DNP, FNP and AG-ACNP programs. She was instrumental in the development of “Code Sepsis” at Harborview Medical Center, receiving 2011 QUALIS Health Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality and Outcomes. She presents sepsis education nationally. As an American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners founding board member and chair of Emergency Nurses Association Institute for Emergency Nurses in Advanced Practice, she worked in multiple settings for 37 years to advance NP practice. With over 40 years of clinical practice in emergency/critical care, she continues to provide care in austere settings in Alaska, Haiti and during disasters as a Federal Disaster Team Member.
