Susan Lee Smith PhD, ACNP-C, FNP-C, RNFA, WCC, CHSE, CBRN, FNAP, FAANP
Dr. Smith is a certified Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical and surgical management of burn and traumatically injured adults. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as preceptor to local graduate nursing students. As National Teaching Faculty with the American Burn Association, she shares her extensive burn experience through local, national and international educational outreach.
Dr. Smith is actively involved in research addressing burn treatment–related issues. Her prior research has been published and presented to national and international audiences. She is immediate President of Central Florida Advanced Practice Nursing Council and an elected member of the National Research Committee for the American Burn Association.
