Jayne Jennings Dunlap DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CNE, EBP-C, FAANP
Dr. Dunlap is the interim DNP program director at Texas Woman's University Denton/Dallas/Houston and a practicing family nurse practitioner at Baylor Scott and White Health in Brenham, Texas. She co-authored the Mountain Model for Evidence-Based Practice Quality Improvement (EBPQI) initiatives plus a new problem-focused, evidence-searching question used nationally and internationally across education and health care settings. Dr. Dunlap advocates for increased access to timely support for individuals on the autism spectrum to enhance their quality of life and improve access to quality health care that meets their diverse needs. First responder training and field use of a novel autism sensory kit bolster these individuals’ support. She was awarded the Mary Mason Lyon Award for Distinguished Junior Faculty (2023), the Susan Cass Faculty Excellence in Scholarship Award (2022) and the Good Samaritan Bronze Medal (2022).
