Cindy Tofthagen PhD, ARNP, AOCNP, FAANP
Dr. Tofthagen is an oncology nurse practitioner committed to improving the lives of persons undergoing cancer treatment through her research, clinical practice, and role as an educator. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Director of the Oncology NP concentration at the University of South Florida, where she also earned both her Master's and Doctoral degrees. Her research focuses on chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy, a debilitating side effect of chemotherapy. Her research has provided a better understanding of the effects of neuropathy on quality of life of patients undergoing chemotherapy, as well as cancer survivors.
