Mary McNamara, DNP, APRN-FPA, CNP, FAANP is a clinical leader and an expert in graduate nursing education who assures that nurse practitioners are practice-ready to meet the complex physical, social, and emotional needs of diverse underserved communities. Dr. McNamara serves as the chief academic officer for the OSF Colleges of Nursing, providing vision and leadership for all academic programs, faculty development, and student success initiatives. She is responsible for advancing the mission of the Colleges through strategic planning, accreditation, and innovation in nursing education, with a strong focus on competency-based learning, clinical partnerships, and inclusive excellence. In collaboration with faculty, staff, alumni, and health system partners, she oversees curriculum development, academic policy, and resource alignment to prepare the next generation of nurse leaders and ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity.
