Julia Rogers, DNP, APRN, CNS, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Doctorate Program at Purdue University Northwest, a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner in pulmonary, critical care, and hospital medicine. Dr. Rogers is the editor of McCance & Huether's Pathophysiology: The Biologic Basis for Disease in Adults and Children (9th ed., Elsevier) and lead author of AJNs first place award winning The 3P's for Advanced Healthcare Providers: Pathophysiology, Physical Assessment, and Pharmacology (2025), a groundbreaking integrated clinical resource adopted by both nursing programs and medical schools nationwide. Her Pathophysiology Memory Notecards (3rd ed., Elsevier) have become a trusted learning tool across generations of nursing and medical students.
Dr. Rogers holds dual fellowship distinction as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), and was honored with the 2025 AANP State Award for Outstanding Contributions in Indiana. She serves as host of the NP POW: Pearls of Wisdom videocast series through Wolters Kluwer Health and as Coding and Billing Column Coordinator for The Nurse Practitioner journal. She is also the American Nurses Association appointed member of the American Medical Association's CPT Health Care Professionals Advisory Committee.
