Noreen Werner Esposito EdD, PMHNP, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Esposito is Associate Professor emerita from UNC-Chapel Hill and owns a private practice as a PMHNP with a specialty in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and psychotherapy incorporating horses. A graduate of SUNY Stony Brook and Teachers College, Columbia University she is an FNP, WHNP and PMHNP. She has served as a WHNP program coordinator, is an innovative teacher and skilled psychotherapist. In her private practice she provides transformative experiences incorporating horses into professional educatiion, leadership and psychotherapy experiences. She serves as a site-evaluator for CCNE, has authored research-based journal articles, published book chapters and has presented at local, national and international presentations. She is currently authoring a book a a mechanisms of change theory in equine assisted interventions.
